For four decades, Rabbi Jack Moline has tirelessly fought for religious freedom, marriage equality and the protection of civil rights for people of all faiths and none. In 2010 and 2011, he was hailed as one of the 50 most influential rabbis in the country. In 2015, Jack took on the official role of president of Interfaith Alliance. This week on State of Belief, Interfaith Alliance’s weekly radio show and podcast, we’ll take a look at his successful tenure ahead of his just-announced 2022 retirement.

Jack will join Rev. Welton Gaddy, host of State of Belief and president emeritus president of Interfaith Alliance, to reflect on his past activism and discuss his upcoming agenda in the months leading up to his retirement.

Humanists, Atheists and the non-religious have long faced discrimination and persecution on a global level. Humanist International recently released its annual Freedom of Thought Report 2021, which outlines the data about the legal and human rights situation of these marginalized individuals. American Humanist Association’s Policy and Social Justice Director Rachel Deitch will sit down with Welton to talk more about the report’s highlights and important findings.
