The Right Rev. Jane Holmes Dixon, only the second woman to be consecrated as a bishop in the Episcopal Church, on her efforts as an interfaith activist to build bridges among different communities. She is one of two recipients of this year’s Interfaith Alliance Walter Cronkite Faith and Freedom Awards, for which she’ll be honored at a gala on November 13.
Farhana Khera, President and Executive Director of Muslim Advocates, on that organization’s new report asserting that much of U.S. policy since 9/11 remains mired in post-9/11 fears and assumptions. She is former counsel to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Property Rights.
