Jeff Sharlet, Assistant Professor of English at Dartmouth College, returns for the second installment of an interview focusing on his new book, C Street – The Fundamentalist Threat to American Democracy. This week, the writer tells us more about his investigation into threatening religious influence on politics. His book is a follow-up to The Family: The Secret Fundamentalism at the Heart of American Power, which he published in 2009.
