At a time when some are using religious differences to inflame divisions in our country, it’s more important than ever to have honest and respectful conversations about our diverse religious landscape. Asma Uddin will join Rabbi Jack Moline, president of Interfaith Alliance and this week’s guest host of State of Belief, to discuss her new book The Politics of Vulnerability: How to Heal Muslim-Christian Relations in a Post-Christian America (due out March 23rd from Pegasus Books), and how faith can be harnessed and distorted to sow discord–or used as a source of common values that can promote healing, community and mutual respect.
