It’s been 23 years since the death of legendary labor leader Cesar Chavez, co-founder of the United Farm Workers. This week on State of Belief, Interfaith Alliance’s radio show and podcast, you’ll hear from the other co-founder, Dolores Huerta — a legendary organizer in her own right.
Huerta has continued her advocacy work to this very day. As Election Day nears, she is working with People for the American Way’s Latinos Vote! program to fight anti-immigrant bigotry and educate Latino voters about what’s at stake. Host Rev. Welton Gaddy will ask Huerta about the election and how the Latino community is responding to rhetoric from Donald Trump and others. CLICK HERE FOR EXTENDED INTERVIEW AND TRANSCRIPT
