On November 11, 2012, Interfaith Alliance will award the Walter Cronkite Faith and Freedom Award to the Rev. C. Welton Gaddy, in recognition of his 15 years heading the organization, as well as numerous other achievements. Listeners to State of Belief Radio may not be familiar with Welton’s story, since he’s always in the interviewer’s chair. But this time, we turn the tables and get him to talk about his work and the motivation behind it.

At the November 11th celebration in New York City, the President’s Award will be given to Mitchell Gold for his tireless work in reconciliation of faith communities and LGBT persons.
