Here’s what’s coming up this weekend on State of Belief Radio –
The Pope is here – bringing with him widespread traffic gridlock, plenty of inspiration and not a small amount of controversy. Bishop Gene Robinson was at the White House welcoming ceremony, and he’ll be with us to tell us all about it. Bishop Gene recently penned a moving column in the Daily Best headlined, A Gay Episcopal Bishop’s Open Letter to the Pope.
Also, from parsing the Pope’s joint address to Congress, to responding to the latest outrage in the world of religion, government, and politics – we’re looking at you, Ben Carson – Interfaith Alliance has its hands full protecting faith and freedom in our nation. Alliance Executive Director Rabbi Jack Moline will be back with us to talk about that vitally important work, and to tell us the five questions we must ask every political candidate.
And we’ll bring you another highlight from the 10 year history of State of Belief, as we get ready to celebrate our anniversary in January!
Follow us on Facebook for updates and bulletins – and be sure to tune in! Here’s how to listen.
