Are you a polling junkie like me? (Checking the polls for longer than four hours could result in a serious medical condition, so please notify your doctor.)
So long as you only read the polls in moderation, there is a great new online resource called Poll Spot that our friends over at Faith in Public Life have released . From their website:
As the political alignments and issues associated with the faith community shift, pollsters and media organizations are publishing more research on faith and politics than ever before. FPL Poll Spot is a comprehensive resource for religion and politics polls, containing all the current and recent survey data on campaigns, issues and religious communities.
Hopefully resoruces like these can get the media out of the habit of using empty terms like “values voters” to describe voters who are people of faith. We are not a monolith – and people who don’t believe in God still vote their values!
