Brit Hume responds to the controversy over  his Tiger Wood’s comments in a recent interview on the Christian Broadcast Network.  Hume expresses no remorse for his statement about abandoning Buddhism in favor of Christianity. Instead, he seems to think the outrage that followed is just what happens when one talks about Jesus Christ. People just don’t seem to get it, Hume implies and he singles out a Baptist minister writing in the Washington Post.  And who could that be? Read Welton’s WashPo comments here.

Just to note, Hume’s answer comes in response to a question in which the interviewer says that those in Washington and the mainstream media don’t understand Hume because, “they think Buddhism, Hinduism and all religions share an equal value”.  Imagine that.
