The Nuns on the Bus are back on State of Belief, Interfaith Alliance’s radio show and podcast. Our host Rev. Welton Gaddy will be joined by Sister Simone Campbell to discuss her message for American voters.
The nuns first made headlines in 2012 when they got on a bus and took their message of social justice to the people. Campbell will preview the nuns’ upcoming 13-state tour.
We also remember the great Elie Wiesel this week. Welton will discuss the legacy of the author, scholar, Holocaust survivor and Nobel laureate with Dr. David Gushee, who has studied and taught Wiesel’s work for decades.
Finally, we’ll find out if Newt Gingrich is the dream VP candidate for Christian nationalists. Peter Montgomery says “yes,” and he will share with Welton why Gingrich might be Donald Trump’s secret weapon to reach evangelicals.
