The Pew Research Center is out with its latest survey of American religion, and once again the headlines are full of “Religion on the Decline” headlines. We’ll get the facts behind the hype from lead researcher Dr. Gregory Smith. The treasure trove of data and analysis is available online.
Interfaith Alliance does much important work through local chapters across the country. Executive Director Jack Moline has been on the road visiting a number of them, and will check in with some of the achievements – and challenges – he’s been hearing about. We’ll also get into the five question Interfaith Alliance believes we should be asking every political candidate.
And a new English translation of the Quran is being published later this month, produced by a team of distinguished Islamic Studies scholars. We’ll talk to one of those scholars, Dr. Joseph Lumbard. The full title is The Study Quran: A New Translation and Commentary.
